We built and are successfully maintaining payments platform (Interpay) which enable merchants to accept all payments methods available in the country mainly Cards, Mobile Money, and Bank transfer.

Brent de Jong has more than 20 years of investment experience, having worked on over 250 investments across 50 countries. Over the course of his career, Brent has developed a broad range of expertise in emerging markets in a variety of sectors, including energy, telecom, financial, natural resources, real estate, and transportation.
He has built or helped manage multiple regulated businesses and has held various board roles in the investment, mining and non-profit sectors. In his capacity as Director of Qenta Inc., he represents De Jong Capital’s investment interest in Qenta Inc.
Nofal Ahmad Butt is serving as Director – Business Solutions since 2014. He did his MBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of the Punjab in 1994. Since then he worked in various positions as enjoys a very diversified experience of serving various industries including Capital Markets, Financial Sector, Manufacturing Industries and has also held very diversified portfolios including Management, Finance, IT and Operations. Some of the major achievements include:
- Project Manager for Depository and the Clearing System implemented for Ghana Stock Exchange
- Project Manager for stockbroker and custody management solutions implemented at leading stock brokers in Ghana like Databank Limited, CAL Bank Limited and CAL Brokers Limited
- Appointed as Consultant to GSE Depository Company Limited (Subsidiary of Ghana Stock Exchange), Ghana
- Project Manager for implementing the Share Registrar System at GSE Depository Company Limited
Abbas Ahmed, after serving for two years as Solutions Architect for CONNECTdotNET, he was made partner of the company in late 2019. His role in the company is still as Solution Architect, where his role is that of a CISO and focuses on service security, availability and performance. His recent projects include work on PCI -DSS Level 1 compliance, ISO 27001 Compliance and cost optimization of services by switching to open source technologies like MySQL, Grafana, Prometheus & Libreswan.
He got into computing through electronics, and started his career as a university lecturer with a greater interest in databases and embedded systems. Starting with dBase III Plus, then moving along to FoxPro, MS Access, MS SQL Server and Oracle 6, 7 and 8. In 2000, started using MySQL and just fell in love with it. He had the opportunity to introduce MySQL cluster as a solution in the Telco sector. He also had a chance to work with analytics data stores like InfiniDB and Infobright. He also worked on planning and executing new projects for the Rentalcars.com Database Engineering team. He helped the company expand from a server count of 24 to 3000 plus in 8 years. He was mainly involved with application architects and made recommendations on how we can best implement DBaaS layers for new systems. Most of his new work is centered around microservices.
Syed Ashraf Ali after working as Head of Finance, HR & Admin in CONNECTDOTNET for almost a year. He was partner of the company in late 2019. He did his MBA, specializing in Finance, from Institute of Business Administration, University of the Punjab in 1994. Though he had been working in the textile sector for his entire professional life from mid to senior management positions. But the textile sector is also very aggressive in delivery his experience proved very valuable to our startup. His professional expertise include Manufacturing, Management, Finance, Quality Assurance Marketing and Operations. He also has international exposure as he travelled to different parts of world including Dubai, Bangladesh, France, Belgium for marketing, business development and customer satisfaction
Abdul Jabbar is a dynamic leader with over 29 years’ diversified experience in the Assurance & Consultancy, Investments, Banking, Trading, Manufacturing & Contracting, Property Development, Hospitality, Utility, and Aviation industries. He is a very committed individual and has in-depth knowledge of the industry & practices and is intelligent and focused at work. His skills in finance and accounting are exceptional. He possess in depth knowledge of accounting matters and can handle complex issues diligently. He possesses strong skills and ability to deal with all complex relationships with various stakeholders.
He joined the Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC) Group in August, 2015 and prior to that he worked with Al Yusr Leasing and Financing Co.(Sep’ 2013 – Aug’ 2015), managed the portfolio of SR 6.5 Billion assets as CFO & Acting Risk Manager. Before joining Al Yusr, he worked with ACWA Holding Group (Oct’ 2010 – Sep’ 2013), having interest in power and water, manufacturing, real estate, utilities & facilities management services, construction & contracting and transportation as Director Finance. He was managing Project and Corporate facilities of SR 3.5 billion. He served with Dubai Investment Group, Bin Dhaher Group, KPMG, AlBaraka Bank and EY in different roles from 1991 to 2010.
Abdul holds Chartered Accountancy degree from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He completed his graduation in 1990 from Punjab University in Pakistan. He has attended seminars on Corporate Valuation, Effective Communication Skills, IFRS &US GAAP Convergence and Zakat & Income Tax law.
